Are you wondering what you should be testing when you are trying out the Base Camp Connect communication systems? If you didn’t know, we have multiple demos available for those of you who would like to try the system before purchasing it. Here are five tests you should be doing to see the potential of the system.

Top 5 things to test BCC

1. Radio to Radio Communications

Make sure to test the radio interoperability module with different types of radios that work on disparate networks and frequencies.

2. Cellphone to Radio Communications

Mobile phone to radio communications is simple with the Base Camp Connect. Call the system single inbound number and dial the extension of the radios. You’ll immediately be connected to the radios on the field from wherever you are located in the world.

3. 5-minute setup time & resistant to hard shutdowns

All the systems are resistant to hard shutdowns. In short, if the system is shutdown by accident, it is up and running in less than 5 minutes with no manipulations needed. You don’t need to configure your radios, nor your other technologies connected to the system.

4. Mobile deployment with coalition partners

The Base Camp Connect solutions are designed to be used out in the field. Don’t hesitate to take them out! Ideally, set up a communication exercise with your favorite coalition partners that don’t use the same communication networks and technologies as you do. This way, you’ll be able to test the interoperability module at it’s best.

5. Encrypted Communications with the REDCOM SIGMA® and SIGMA CORE® app

You can have encrypted communications with the REDCOM SIGMA® platform that is embedded in the Base Camp Connect solutions. It is also possible to have encrypted communications from a cellphone with the SIGMA CORE® app available on iOS & Android.
